Sparks….Ignite….Infuse
As we strive to serve the youth of God’s church, we would like to recognize all age groups which fall under our youth ministry.
Beginning with some of the youngest among us, sparks is designed for children ages 5 through 12. Helping to light that spark inside of them while they light sparks in all of the brethren.
Matthew 18:3, “And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”
The lessons and materials provided can be adjusted to make them relevant to all in that age range. At the Feast of Tabernacles each year, our sparks groups often start at age 3.
For our teens, ignite is a program in the early stages of development. Designed for ages 13 through 18, our focus is on engaging our teens and helping to ignite a passion for Christ, as they help serve and share their passion with all those they encounter.
Psalm 71 :5, “For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth.”
Lesson plans are being written for our teens and will be available from the Church of God International website. These lessons will be available to use for the Feast of Tabernacles as well as for use year-round. Where possible, our Feast sessions for the teens are interactive and based on the yearly theme established by our infuse team.
Our young adult program… Geared toward ages 18 through 30, infuse is focused on service to others as well as developing qualities of true servant-leadership in our young adults.
As mentioned, infuse establishes a yearly theme, with an accompanying scripture. The theme is used for presentation topics at the infuse retreat as well as the Feast of Tabernacles, in the young adult daily sessions. It is also used for articles, web content, and of course, the annual t-shirt.
